When your netting arrives, you may notice it’s longer than what you ordered. That’s because for every metre in length you purchase, you’ll actually receive about 1.3 linear metres — this extra comes from how the net is folded or “snaked” during packaging.

The mesh holes initially appear as diamonds. As you stretch the width to the full 6 m, these diamonds will gradually reshape into squares, and the length will contract. When the holes look square, your net is correctly stretched.
If you stretch too wide, you’ll lose length; if you stretch too long, you’ll lose width.
